Volunteer Opportunities

Many Nativity Jesuit alumni volunteer their time by giving back to current students.

Give the gift of time. Volunteer at Nativity Jesuit Academy! We are always looking for talented, creative, enthusiastic volunteers to help shape Nativity Jesuit Academy and our students.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Mentoring works! Nativity Jesuit believes that its strong mentoring program contributes to much of the school’s success, as well as the success of its graduates. As a mentor, you will develop a lasting bond with a student through a one-on-one relationship while contributing to the growth of a student as a Christian leader.
  • To learn more, ask questions, or enroll in the program, please email our Director of Graduate Support, Kevin Foley.
  • Study Hall – 4th-8th grade students have a mandatory study hall after school. We are always looking for tutors from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
  • Sports – Our middle school students compete in soccer, basketball, and track. We need coaches who are able to work with a wide variety of skills sets.
  • Future City Competition – Nativity Jesuit’s 8th graders participate in an engineering competition called Future City. The students spend several months preparing for the competition in January at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE).
  • Email Assistant Principal John Meuler for more information.
  • Supervision – Volunteers assist our teachers with supervision during lunch, recess, and our aftercare program.
  • Instruction – Occasionally, there are volunteers who can help with reading or math small groups in the classroom.
  • Email Principal Vanessa Solis for more information.
  • Nativity Jesuit’s residential academic summer program in Mercer, Wisconsin runs for six weeks for our 6th-8th grade students. Camp counselors are paid a stipend. Email Nativity Jesuit Director of Camp Thunderhead Josh Kraemer for more information
  • Summer school in Milwaukee runs for five weeks. Volunteers can be involved in small group instruction, recess supervision, and bike week! Email Assistant Principal John Meuler for more information.
